Abstract
This speech will systematically analyze the issues of surveillance capitalism and algorithmic discrimination in mainland China’s Internet ecosystem. The lecturer will combine theoretical frameworks and empirical cases to deeply explore how the platform economy forms a new governance model through data collection and algorithmic mechanisms, as well as the resulting discriminatory consequences and social impact. At the same time, we analyze how to strike a balance between innovative development and rights protection.
